SITE ASSESSMENT
- Carry out initial site suitability surveys
- Provide initial estimates of development costs and revenue
- Identify potential show stoppers
- Set up a project development plan
- Prepare detailed development costs, O&M costs, and revenue estimates
DESIGN
- Develop project layout and design detailing for the feasibility assessments and surveys
- Prepare project layout and design detailing for Planning and CAR Licence applications
- Prepare detailed design information for the construction stages
- Coordinate the involvement of specialist consultants
SITE SURVEYS
- Carry out walk-over surveys
- Liaise with statutory bodies and others to establish survey requirements
- Manage surveys by specialist consultants
- Coordinate survey work with design development to ensure optimal results
GRID CONNECTION
- Assist with securing a grid connection to allow generated energy to be exported
- Coordinate design and construction works with the Distribution Network Operator
PLANNING PERMISSION & CAR LICENCE
- Assist with securing and complying with planning permission and CAR Licence
- Consult with local planning department, SEPA, and other organisations
- Prepare documentation for submission of applications
- Ensure compliance with conditions during construction and operational stages
FINANCING
- Assist with securing finance from banks or private lenders
CONSTRUCTION
- Advise on the selection of generating plant, pipes, and other equipment and coordinate procurement
- Advise on the selection of civil works contractors and other specialist services and manage their involvement
- Assist Client with carrying out their health and safety duties under the CDM Regulations
- Generally manage the construction process including compliance with statutory body conditions and design standards
POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENTS
- Advise on latest Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme developments
- Assist with securing FIT preliminary accreditation and full accreditation
- Assist with negotiating a Power Purchase Agreement
COMMISSIONING
- Coordinate commissioning of the civil works and generating plant
- Advise on adequacy of commissioning test results
- Assemble 'as-built' information and O&M documentation
